Longlist

I was very pleased to find out last Friday that one of the four paintings on the extended longlist had been selected for the longlist of the Jackson’s Art Prize. From 3,167 works only 932 pieces made it onto the Longlist. So for my painting “Bypass” to be on there is hard to take in.

The shortlisted works were announced yesterday, 28/3/2025, made up of only 115 works and so, unsurprisingly, my painting was not selected among them. However I’m still very proud to have even been a part of the judging this year and glad for the connections I’ve made with other artists during the process. to view the shortlist and take part in the peoples choice award go to https://gallery.jacksonsart.com/.
