OutsideIn National Exhibition 2025

42cm x 30cm / Acrylic on Canvas / 2024

I’m pleased to announce I was informed that my painting, “On the Shelf” has been selected to be included in “Shelter” the OutsideIn National Exhibition 2025!

OutsideIn are a fantastic charity that provide a platform for artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation. They provide a digital platform for artists to show their work and aim to create a fairer art world by supporting artists, creating opportunities, and influencing arts organisations.

“Shelter” will be on at

The New Art Gallery Walsall
27 June to 19 October 2025

and

Christie’s London
12 to 22 January 2026

I’m very grateful to have been given a platform through their organisation and now to have a piece selected for the exhibition. I don’t particularly like to talk about my condition but just for clarity I’m living with a chronic lung condition as a result of a rare allergic reaction as a child. I’m pretty restricted physically in what I can do and live with chronic fatigue and breathlessness. Reconnecting with my art has been the biggest help to my mental health in the past few years and I’m very grateful not only for the support of charities like outside in but also the many local art institutions who have helped over the past few years including Framewerk, Yard Gallery and Arcade Studios.
