Royal Ulster Academy

For the first time since I started to identify as a painter rather than a “lens based artist” I decided to submit a few paintings to the RUA open call and was astonished when one of them, “Midday, Dundela” was longlisted. After a hopeful few weeks I found out unfortunately it hadn’t made the final cut but to get into the longlist of only 400 pieces from over 3000 entries still deserves a mention.
